21 Islamiyya pupils abducted regain’s freedom in Zamfara State

No fewer than 21 abducted children have regained their freedom in Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria.

The police say the 21 children who include two females were abducted when banditry terrorists blocked the Gusau – Funtua Road that connects Zamfara and Katsina States at Kucheri village where they abducted unspecified number of passengers from five different vehicles.

The children are Islamiyya pupils who were going to their school with their teacher at Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The Zamfara State Police Command says the Islamic teacher and the driver of the vehicle are still in captivity.
