APC leaders offered bandits N56m to refuse release of Jangebe abducted schoolgirls – Shinkafi

The governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in 2019 governorship election in Zamfara state, Dr. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has accused the APC leaders in the state of inducing the bandits in the state.

He accused the All Progressive Congress APC in the state of offering about N56 million  to bandits to refused the release of Jangebe abducted girls. According to him, he said their aim was to sabotage the peace effort of the state governor Bello Mohammed Matawall

He made the allegation during a press briefing, on the state of the insecurity that has engulfed the state lately.

 “I, therefore, challenge politicians from both the ruling and opposition parties to subject their telephone numbers to security checks since I am confident that the story that will come out of that process would be shocking,” he said.

He said all the politicians in the state should be profiled from 25th of February to the time the girls were released, he said when serious security checks are carried out on the personnel phones, a great revelation will be reviewed.

Shinkafi said some APC members in Zamfara state were desperate to ensure the governor failed in his quest to transform the state.

He said the security agencies need to step-up their games in other to curtain the insecurity affecting the country.

He than advice the youth not to allow themselves to be used as an agent of destructions by desperate politicians. And, he used the opportunity to call on the youth to focus more on building the nation, as the nation belong to the future.

He called on the government to come up with initiatives that will create employment for the youth, for them to be engaged productively.
