Banky W Speaks Out After Losing His Representative Seat in Eti-Osa to the Labour Party

Bankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, is a well-known Nigerian singer and politician. He has talked about his loss in the recent Nigerian elections.

He talked about how the candidate for the Labour Party beat him in the election for the Lagos State Eti-Osa Federal Constituency.

Attah Thaddeus, who ran for the Labour Party, beat Banky W.

Attah won the election with 24,075 votes. He beat Banky W, who got 18,666 votes, and Babajide Obanikoro, who got 16,901 votes for the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Banky W said on his Instagram page on Monday that if everything had gone as planned, he would have gone to Abuja to get an apartment and an office space.

Banky W said in his church that just because you believe in God doesn’t mean you won’t get hurt.

“‘Faith after a fall’ is for anyone who has ever lost something, been disappointed, or been in a situation where things didn’t turn out the way they had hoped. It’s also for me.

“This was supposed to be our Thanksgiving service. After the election, we’ll come together to celebrate and give thanks to God. I was going to say something short like, “Look what the Lord has done.”

“Then, we use that to strengthen your faith and praise God. Then we finish the service, and I go to Abuja to start looking for an apartment and a place to work.

“Your faith in God won’t keep you from hurting, but it will help you heal and deal with it,” he said.
