Today, President Bola Tinubu met with Bill Gates, the co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, at the presidential villa. Accompanying Gates was Aliko Dangote, the CEO of Dangote Group. The purpose of the visit was to provide the President with an update on the foundation’s efforts to enhance the healthcare sector in the country.
During the closed-door meeting, Dangote revealed that the Gates Foundation is committed to working closely with communities and leaders to support innovation. This visit is just one example of their philanthropic efforts worldwide.
