The Headquarters of the Nigerian Immigration Service in Abuja has been razed by fire, this was disclosed on the official twitter handle of the agency.
The incident was said to have happened at the early hours of Sunday, the service disclosed this to the general public. The fire, whose cause is still being investigated according to the NIS, is said to have affected some offices in the headquarters.
Though, the fire has been put off through the assistance of the Federal fire service, and other sister agencies who came to assist.
The Nigeria immigration service, assured the general public that the fire incident will not affect the operations of the agency.
The cause of the incident is not yet unknown, and NIS promise to make the investigations, finding public.
