The Emir of Daura, Umar Farouk has appointed President Muhammadu Buhari’s nephew, Musa Haro, as the district head of the newly created Dumurkol District under the Daura Emirate Council.
This is contained in a letter to the appointee by the Emir of Daura, According to the letter, the appointment was based on the recommendation by the state government following the creation of the district.
The letter also stated that thirteen villages will be under the Dumurkol which include: Dumurkol, Jirdede, Kokutuko, Bula, Kalgon Dangwara, Yikka, and Mammani.
Others are Raba, Gagir, Jassai, Yan Hakum, Tilla and Sukuf.
The letter which stated that the appointment takes immediate effect added that the date for the turbaning and introduction of the new district head to the other communities will be communicated in due course.
