The Police Command in Plateau state, confirmed on Sunday the gruesome killing of four men in a mining site.
The killer according to the police are yet to be known as at Saturday evening.
This was communicated to the general public by the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Ubah Ogaba, in an interview in Jos, the State Capital.
According to him “Four men who went to a mining site at Mai Farin Mota were shot dead by yet to be identified gunmen.”
He said the scene has been visited by the police and the Police has beefed up security in the area, to prevent further killings.
When asked the next line of action, he said Investigation had since commenced to unravel the circumstances that necessitated the killing of the four miners.
He advised the public to remain calm as the police will do all thing possible to bring the perpetrator to book.
