I Am In My Ibadan House’ – Sunday Igboho Dispels Arrest Rumour

The Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has dispelled the rumour that he was arrested at Sat Guru Maharajji village, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway on Friday.

The embattled self acclaimed activist said he was not arrested in a voice note played on Facebook by his media aide, Olayomi Koiki, during a live show at about 11:59pm on Friday.

Igboho, who spoke in Yoruba language, said he was still at his house in Ibadan.

“Good evening my fans. I thank you all. My name is Sunday Igboho and today is July 2, 2021. I have been hearing the rumours that they have arrested me at Guru Maharaj Ji. It is a lie. I was not at Guru Maharaj Ji. 

“I’m at my house in Ibadan now. The World will not catch us”.

On Friday evening rumour emerged that Yoruba rights activist, was arrested by operatives of Department of State Services(DSS) at Guru Maharajji village on Lagos/Ibadan expressway.

Igboho has been speaking from hideout since security forces raided his home two days ago. The DSS has claimed that it got information of stockpile of arms and ammunition at the Ibadan residence of Sunday Igboho.
