The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that its staff at Polling Unit 007, Ward 1 in Ijebu North Local Government Area, Ogun State, are fully prepared for accreditation and voting. This announcement was made via INEC’s official Twitter handle on Saturday.
According to the commission, the staff at the polling unit are ready to commence accreditation and voting at 7:30 am. INEC further stated that the polling unit is fully activated and prepared for the exercise.
It is important to note that twenty-eight governorship and state house of assembly elections are currently ongoing nationwide.
As the electoral process continues, INEC remains committed to ensuring that the exercise is conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner. The commission urges all eligible voters to come out and exercise their civic duty by casting their votes.
