President Muhammadu Buhari has been advised to step up his game(s) in the area of insecurity in the country, the call is coming from conference of concerned Igbo Elders for Peace and National Unity.
The president was advised to take up the gauntlet as the commander-in-Chief and deal with the enemies of the state bent on undermining his administration.
Prof. William okocha, the president of the conference made this call in Abuja when answering questions from Journalist.
In his words “responsible governments all over the world do not treat criminal elements with kid gloves, but rather deploy maximum state assets to crush their potency.”
He admonished the president to show great capacity to deal with the securities challenges in the country. The insecurity in the land has reached alarming proportion, and is threating the cooperate coexistence of the nation.
The president of the conference prof. okocha, urged Buhari to assure Ndigbo and other regions that they remained an integral part of Nigerian state.
