I’ve no Connection in Mohbad’s death, Naira Marley insists

Renowned Nigerian musician Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, has firmly asserted that he bears no direct or indirect responsibility for the untimely demise of the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Ever since the passing of the talented artist behind the hit song “peace” was announced on September 12, the Nigerian populace has persistently sought justice for this tragic loss.

In the wake of this unfortunate incident, there have been allegations linking Naira Marley, the proprietor of Marlian Record (the music label to which Mohbad was previously signed), to his demise. However, Naira Marley, in an effort to clear his name, released a statement on his official Instagram account on Tuesday, vehemently denying any involvement in Mohbad’s death.

Naira Marley emphasized that Mohbad was akin to a brother to him, and they shared a strong bond during his lifetime. Any disagreements that arose between them were merely typical familial disputes.

Furthermore, Naira Marley expressed his intention to return to Nigeria in order to vindicate himself from the grave accusations of murder that have been leveled against him.
