Lt.-Gen Tukur Buratai the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff (COAS), said the Nigerian Army is ready now more than ever before to recruit the very best into the Nigeria army.
He made the statement on Monday at the final screening for 80 regular recruits in Falgore Forest Training camp in Kano state.
The chief of Army Staff said the army is moving out from it old way of recruitment into a new approach to the screening and recruitment process of Nigerian Army.
He said, it was borne out of the need to have the very best recruited into the army.
The experience drawn in the field had made it imperative to recruit the very best, he noted that faulty process could lead to faulty training and which will have a great devastation on the Army and it will eventually leads to faulty operation.
