Saratu Umar’s appointment as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, NIPC, has been canceled by President Muhammadu Buhari with immediate effect.
The President also instructed the Commission’s most senior Director to assume interim leadership immediately in a directive to Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment Adeniyi Adebayo.
The declaration was made in a statement released on Thursday by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
