Suspected banditry terrorists have attacked Pinau town in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria killing over 10 people while scores of others sustained various degrees of injury.
The incident which happened on Sunday, come after the villagers had finished their weekly community market.
A member of the community, Hamman Sale, who confirmed the development to our correspondent on telephone said the banditry terrorists who invaded the community came from Zanfara State.
When contacted, the spokesperson of Plateau State Police Command, ASP Gabriel Ubah while confirming the incident at Pinau say the Command is yet to get more details on the attack.
Our correspondent gathered that before now, the banditry terrorists had attacked Sapiyo town, abducting a nursing mother and a prominent APC chieftain who is a close associate of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Idris Wase.
